A Second Career
June 2008
He retired from the government, and a week later returned as a contractor. Tom Vincenti was born and raised in Havre de Grace, Maryland. He started his government career in 1968 at Bainbridge Naval Training Center as a typist and, from there, entered the trades as a Boiler Tender. He came to Aberdeen Proving Ground in 1972 as a Roving Boiler Operator and just recently retired in May 2008 as a Facility Manager in the Directorate of Installation Operations Business Management Division. Tom has four children, two grandchildren, and a hard-working wife. In his spare time, he enjoys cooking, playing golf, exercising at a local health club, working in the yard, and sampling new wines. MCFA is excited to have Tom onboard!
