MCFA Announces New Vice President and General Manager

Adam Mihulka has been named Vice President and General Manager of MCFA, LLC reporting to the MCFA Capital Corporation’s executive board. Adam joined MCFA in September 2011 as Director of Strategic Development and has already distinguished himself as a bright and driven leader with superior business development acumen, strong management skills, and fresh ideas. These skills are ever more important for MCFA to continue on its positive growth trajectory in the face of severe defense spending cuts and increasing competition. Adam was formerly with United Technologies, York, and most recently, Johnson Controls, in a variety of engineering, management and sales roles of increasing responsibility. Adam had an extraordinary track record at Johnson Controls, selling and managing millions of dollars in infrastructure and energy projects, particularly under the DoD’s Energy Savings Performance Contracting program. He also brings strong technical expertise in energy efficiency and power generation technologies which supplement MCFA’s already strong energy credentials. Adam is a licensed Professional Engineer and holds a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Hartford.

In this new role Adam will have responsibilities that were formerly shared by Jon Nehlsen and Michael Fuhrman, including sales, project execution, and operations. As members of the Capital Corporation’s executive board, Mr. Nehlsen and Mr. Fuhrman will continue to support MCFA operations and report to CEO Rebecca Fuhrman but will focus considerable attention on various venture capital and development opportunities that complement MCFA’s core energy and infrastructure practices.
